Billings’s oil painting “Summer Memory” was selected for exhibition by The Guild of Boston Artists in its 2015 juried painting competition. The Annual Regional Juried Exhibition features the best of representational painting by New England artists who work in the realist tradition.
The Guild is an elegant nonprofit gallery, in the heart of Boston’s historic Back Bay, exhibiting the work of New England’s finest living artists since 1914. Established by the prominent painters of the day, including Edmund Tarbell, William Paxton and Frank Benson, the Guild of Boston Artists was created with the mission of promoting both emerging and established artists living in the region and has developed a reputation for excellence in quality and presentation.
The juried exhibition will be on view in the historic President’s Gallery at the Guild’s 162 Newbury Street location in Boston from October 3-24, 2015.
